Female Company
Five emotionally deprived, sexually underrated wives and a widow discover that the only things they have in common are their perms, their card games and the shady business interests of their husbands who are more or less influential citizens of the country town in which they live. This motley female company transfers to the two-room apartment of their well-heeled “close friend” and the beginning of the group’s amorous activities is now only a matter of time and coordination. When a sinister ex-cop and private eye fails to blackmail the most upstanding of the duped husbands and takes his revenge by theatening to expose via the net not only his wife but, by extension, the entire small, closed community, the consequences are fatal and disastrous.
