VMF develops films either as main producer or as a minority producer, submitting applications to the appropriate film financing institutions of Greece (GFC, ERT, EKOME).
Its production, executive production and international co-production portfolio includes collaborations with world class directors such as Theo Angelopoulos (Ulysses’ Gaze, Eternity and a Day), Costa Gavras (Adults in the Room, Eden is West), Pantelis Voulgaris (Brides), Tassos Boulmetis (A Touch of Spice, Mythopathy, 1968) and younger film directors like Aggelos Frantzis (Eftychia) and Alexis Alexiou (Wednesday 4:45) among others.
Recent international co-productions include films like .dog by Ioanna Americanou, A Pure Place by Nikias Chryssos, Sisters Apart by Daphne Harizani, Ein Atem by Christian Zubert, Happy Birthday by Christos Georgios, Smuggling Hendrix by Marios Piperidis, Big Utopia by Fotos Labrinos.
VMF is also active in the production of TV series, with typical examples of the series Life in the Tomb by Tassos Psaras, Ten by Pigi Dimitrakopoulou, Karyotakis by Tassos Psaras, Loafing and Camouflage by Nikos Perakos, and theater, productions such as The Experiment by Andreas Flourakis (2018, Megaron Concert Hall), Papissa Ioanna by Dimitris Mavrikios (2014, Athens & Epidaurus Festival), Medea by Anatoli Vasiliev, The Monstrous Masterpiece by Dimitris Mavrikios and others.
