Loafing and Camouflage

Subject of the TV serial is the first Greek Military Channel, the ARMED FORCES’ TELEVISION and the living and military service of the soldiers that served it since its establishment until the foundation of the Military Broadcasting Corporation. The adventures of the heroes illustrate the tragic national adventures of that period, which coincides with the beginning of a seven year dictatorship.

The narration captures the life of the soldiers, the relationship among them and between them and their officers, their connection with the “artistic” part of the channel, describing tragicomic situations and events of that period’s connection between the army and the show biz.

The soldiers, who illustrate the life of the Greek community at that time, encounter both, army and the political situation, with shallowness, a fact that rather glorifies or reduces its terrible consequences.
